The Balm features fun packaging, light hearted names including Shady Lady and Hot Mama, (a blush that is practically identical to cult favourite NARS Orgasm). Two Timer is a double ended mascara which allows you to keep it natural or go super glam on a night out and there are a host of lovely eye shadows, palettes, lip colours, foundations & brushes to choose from too!
The Balm also represents an important ethos that cosmetics do not have to be harmful to animals - as seen especially in the vegan friendly lip balms.
The ingredients of these mineral cosmetics which are mostly natural and do not contain chemical preservatives help to make your skin beautiful without any danger. Mineral cosmetics line ranges from foundation, eye shadows, blushers and also lipsticks - just like any normal makeup lines are. Most of them are in loose powder form as there are no chemical used to bind the powder. You can control the coverage of your makeup according to your preferences - from sheer to medium.
The Balm in the other hand is another brand of cosmetic line which originated from the USA. I've been seeing this brand at various websites but never had the opportunity to buy them. The outlook of the products very much resemble Benefit but at half its price! The name used for their products are (ahem!) yummy-licious too, such as Get Down Boy as reviewed by So Loverly. Most of their products seems to be available in Malaysia.
