Vegan Cosmetics Detail

Although most women use makeup, many of them don’t have any idea about what exactly it is they are putting on their skin on a regular basis. As more and more emphasis is placed on mass production and smaller overheads, many big companies have resorted to using ingredients that, when looked at properly, are far from appealing. Much of the cosmetics market today is dominated by the use of chemicals such as titanium dioxide and aluminium chlorohydrate as well as animal products like stearic acid (pig fat – a common irritant of the skin).
Certainly, the benefits of using vegan cosmetics are many – even if you aren’t too worried about it on an ethical level. Knowing what you are putting onto your skin every day will help you to control your skincare routine more thoroughly as, if you do happen to have a reaction, you can more easily figure out what it is you need to eliminate without having to wade through masses of jargon and relearning your periodic table. Moreover, they tend to be…well…better. Natural products are more likely to do what they say they’ll do because they’ve been used and effectively “researched” for thousands of years, and, because they remain niche, the company making them are more likely to be concerned with how good the product is rather than how big their profit margins will be.
A small change to make, but one that can be immensely (sometimes even immediately) effective! For more information on vegan lifestyle
